Natural wine bar, restaurant, and plant boutique in a former shoe store with 20-foot ceilings. Queer and Iranian-owned. Psychedelic jazz Thursdays. Good for a date or just disappearing for a couple hours.

No explanation needed. Eighteen wooden stools, marble counter, cash only. Operating continuously since 1903. Get there early, get in line, it's worth it every time.

Always changing. Always worth a walk-through. Over 700 murals created since 1992 by a grassroots artist-run collective focused on social justice. Free public art at its best.

If you haven't seen this yet, go. The infinity rooms are worth the hype. "Dreaming of Earth's Sphericity" on Floor 6 is still pulling people in.

Textile art on a massive scale. Her first solo show at SFMOMA — bundled, shaped, and coiled threads reaching into space, plus a site-specific outdoor commission in the sculpture garden.

Went dark in 2020. The Huntington Hotel's iconic bar is back — reopened after a six-year closure, celebrating its 50th anniversary.

50+ wines by the glass on draft, small plates, and yes — Klingon signage. The Star Trek theme sounds ridiculous but the natural wine selection is dead serious.
